Adjustment Period

Your new cat may take several months to fully adjust to you, your home, and/or others in the home. Are you committed to giving your new pet 3 to 6 months to fully adjust if needed? Some cats adjust quickly to new environments and people, while others take much longer to feel safe and fully decompress.

If you are no longer able to keep your new cat for any reason, do you agree to contact the adopting Biscuits & Beans Cat Cafe Rescue Partner immediately? We understand that the unexpected happens in life, and our priority is the safety and well-being of all of our cats, even after they are adopted.

Furthermore, do you agree that if you cannot keep the pet you adopt, you will safely house them until a foster home or new adoptive home is available with the Partner Rescue?

Due to a fluctuating census of cats in each rescue's care, foster space may not be immediately available, and it may take some time to secure foster or adoptive placement.

Adopter Qualifications

To qualify for adoption, you must: (1) be at least 18 years old; (2) have a valid driver's license or state/federal ID; (3) have proof of current address; (4) have consent from your landlord, if applicable; (5) be able to provide necessary medical, financial, and social care for a new cat.

Application Information

Biscuits & Beans Cat Cafe Rescue Partners will not adopt to anyone who gives misleading or inaccurate information on this application or who cannot provide proof of the given information upon request.

We reserve the right to refuse or deny placement of any animal with any potential adopter for any reason.

Reasons may include, but are not limited to, current pets not being up to date on vaccines or spayed/neutered, activity/noise level in your home is not a good fit, the personality of the cat does not match the household dynamic, etc.

We strive to find the best possible match for both the cats in our care and adopters. Our adoption process helps to ensure you will find the right cat that is well-suited for your lifestyle. Working together helps determine if the adoption is in both the cat's and adopter's best interest. Please work agreeably with us during all steps of the adoption process to be considered for adoption.

Biscuits & Beans Rescue Partners reserve the right to reclaim any adopted animal at any time if, in their opinion, the animal is not properly or humanely cared for.
